Almost at the end of my tour, I’m starting a résumé in my head. The encounters and experiences were very enriching. But it was just too much in too short a time. I cannot keep up with processing what I experience. This means I am not always as present as I would like to be, and thus I cannot do justice to myself or to everybody I meet.
In the future, I will allow myself to travel and live more slowly. So often on this tour, I had the feeling: “I would like to stay here a little longer.” Who knows what could have evolved from my being able to stay?!
And so next year, there will be an experiment which will be quite extraordinary for me: less scheduled events and plenty of gaps in the calendar! Let’s see if I can move towards Deepak Chopra’s “do less and accomplish more” from his law of least effort. I will allow myself “slow travel”… and I look forward to finding out what will happen along the way.
