Well\u2026 at least I am\u2026 Every now and then a thought shoots through my head: \u201cBut, you can\u2019t do that\u2026 or can I?\u201d Can I really just opt out of the rat race? Can I leave my day-job and from now on just do what I\u2019m enthusiastic about?!? I drive through Wuppertal on a sunny morning (which in itself is an oxymoron) to work and see people rushing along the sidewalks, and I realize that I will soon not belong to them anymore. I will stop the wheel and get off. It\u2019s incredible that we think there is no other way. \u201cThat\u2019s how you do it!\u201d My favorite questions these days is: \u201cHow do you know?\u201d That\u2019s how it\u2019s done? How do you know? Have you ever tried to do it differently? And what happened then? It starts with the little things. For example with the way how we get out of a chair. Or how we sit in front of the computer. In Alexander Technique lessons, I have often seen that things can be done differently. Little things and big things.
